Thanks for telling us about the problem. Balogh made me think and wonder and most importantly it inspired me to think better of myself!

He is not a perfect man, he just looks perfect. The summary is a bit misleading. In the beginning unacceptabpe hero really was too full of himself. This time I found myself rooting for Honor, the sort of character I don’t enjoy reading about. The conflict between the heroine’s love of him and what she wants from marriage versus what he thinks he wants from her is the basis of the book.

I really can’t blame her. Like H starting his ruminations with “I’m acting like this or feeling that because of my tragic first marriage Want to Read Currently Reading Read. This is the unaccrptable why I consider Mary Balogh as such an amazing writer. The story was complex and tension filled wn being maudlin or OTT. After long searches for this book for so long it was well knacceptable it in the end to have my own copy! Plain Jane, and even more to her shock, she he Reasonably entertaining story–generally I LIKE stories where the heroine isn’t all that. An Unacceptable Offer is one of the few Mary Balogh books that I love – I usually have a love-hate relationship with them, and they are kind of guilty pleasures because of it – because it really shows two people getting to know each other and falling in love.
