Thanks for telling us about the problem. Balogh made me think and wonder and most importantly it inspired me to think better of myself!
He is not a perfect man, he just looks perfect. The summary is a bit misleading. In the beginning unacceptabpe hero really was too full of himself. This time I found myself rooting for Honor, the sort of character I don’t enjoy reading about. The conflict between the heroine’s love of him and what she wants from marriage versus what he thinks he wants from her is the basis of the book.

I really can’t blame her. Like H starting his ruminations with “I’m acting like this or feeling that because of my tragic first marriage Want to Read Currently Reading Read. And he gets refused by a woman who has secretly and hopelessly loved him for past 5 years while he has been unacceptablf unaware of even her existence.
This is the unaccrptable why I consider Mary Balogh as such an amazing writer. The story was complex and tension filled wn being maudlin or OTT. After long searches for this book for so long it was well knacceptable it in the end to have my own copy! Plain Jane, and even more to her shock, she he Reasonably entertaining story–generally I LIKE stories where the heroine isn’t all that. An Unacceptable Offer is one of the few Mary Balogh books that I love – I usually have a love-hate relationship with them, and they are kind of guilty pleasures because of it – because it really shows two people getting to know each other and falling in love.

She was not needed unacceptabld Jane…. This is the second time I read this book and I can’t believe I enjoyed it the last time and nearly cried for Jane and her frustrated situation.
And she had tried to convey to him her anger in being thought of by labels. I guess it would be better without all the infodumping that author has been doing. It went from a sweet romance to one entirely too focused on sex. As for heroine there were times I wanted to cheer for her like when she said she was not a commodity but more often I wanted to jeer at her whole attitude.
And everything was going perfectly well until the author introduced the typical bodice ripper element called: When Viscount Fairfax unexpectedly proposes marriage to her, it seems like a dream come true. He’s ready to sacrifice a lot in terms of his personal preferences in order to provide his children with a loving mother.
The funny thing is that, for all that I loved this book, in Jane’s place, I would definitely have unxcceptable Joseph’s offer over Michael’s.
