I originally thought it was a novel, but it is a biography. I read a nice wartime edition. You wouldn’t think I could find a book from my favorite super-specific niche genre Short stories written in the mids by immigrants about the American experience in good humor and with good heart in a tiny used bookstore in Yellow Springs, Ohio, but hey Feb 18, Cindy rated it it was amazing.
