Narrator Once Then Aristotle’s Nostril. A story of hope, ball control, and an incredible journey. I chose this book because the book looks very interesting, and unbelievable how people can escape from extremism government, and after that stay alive, and live in a safe place from the extremist government. Every though its a short book, I was constantly entertained and interested.
Definitely holding onto it so I can pass it on to the younger people in my family.
Give as a gift. If a kid is going to enjoy a book, then they have to see themselves in the main character. View all 9 comments.

But they’re sure they can achieve their dream, if only they can get to Australia. Their home is blown up and all they have left is what they May 21, Watermelon Daisy rated it it was ok. However, the journey isn’t all smooth. In typical Gleitzman style, the issue of refugees and Australia’s immigration policies is dealt with so that moeris readers gain a good understanding of the situation.
Jamal is too adult-like I absolutely despise how Jamal is a kid stereotype and then becomes and adult! Jamal and Bibi have a dream: I listened to the Bolinda Audio book, which was read by Gleitzman. He acts like a happy-go-lucky kid in the first part of the book and then becomes a single parent in the second half! One example is that girls are not allowed to go to school. I hated this book so much. Laziness Throughout this entire review, I have not stopped mentioning how lazy the author is.

Boy Overboard was a story I had to read in English. Jamal and Bibi are the dumbest kids I have ever read about. If you want to be part of or start a political debate then this is a book for you.
I understand the refugees flight, I understand that as an I did not enjoy this book. Then he had a wonderful experience. As he did in his ‘Once’ books, Gleitzman captures the voice of a kid trying to make sense of the chaos around him. One thing I learnt from the book is that not all people that act good ,orris good. An interesting story from the PoV of an Afghani refugee to Australia.
