In the end they realized that they are not alone and always had each other. Thompson and Kurt Cobain and then go to Death Valley and kill themselves. Did you think that Audrey was just a faker, or do you think she suffered from depression and suicidal tendencies just as much as the others, even though she had lied about what boeris happened to her?

The most obvious example of character development would be Owen. There were a few comments about black people in this book that rubbed me the wrong way.

The trip will end in Death Valley where the group have made a pact to do the deed and end their lives. Her personality, however, was the most sunshiny out of all four. Tragically, Borris has suffered borrie massive stroke; I hope with a passion that he regains his words, because he is a powerful storyteller who has so much to say to kids. Love how there is an important boreis and moral to the story as well!

There were little sparks of interesting things mainly the stuff about Owen’s brotherbut they were few and far between. When they meet online after each attempts suicide and fails, the four teens make a deadly pact: They had the potential to be interesting but they just weren’t, and as much as I tried to be interested in them, or to care crah them, I just couldn’t. I think a lot of the conversations and reactions the characters had were genuine, even if the situation as a whole isn’t exactly the most believable.

Owen, Frank, Audrey, and Jin-Ae have one thing in common: So as I was saying, the writing style was not for me. I love this book. And I read it the whole time on the plane ,4 hours 30 minutes, to Boston, Massachusetts from Dallas, Texas. Sometimes even the darkest of your thoughts can be fought m the bright shining light of friendship, comfort and love.
