These are all excellent quality pro films that when exposed and handled correctly by the photographer and lab, give excellent results. This film also has a great exposure latitude, similar to Kodak’s, and it produces vivid and detailed prints even in bright sunlight. I had to make sure I was ready before I could just start clicking away.
While I would still 400j to that film for dedicated portraiture, this film is an excellent all-round go to that adds just a little punch that is great for landscapes and general shooting while still remaining acceptable for portraiture as well.
Casey – Very helpful. All in all, Fuji Pro H is a great film either in night time or day time. It showed me that I could easily shoot the film at ISO and get great colors.
What I will absolutely state is that your camera and lenses should have clean contacts to communicate with one another, your rangefinders should be calibrated, and putting soft lenses in front of this film emulsion these days absolutely does funi do it justice in the face of digital photography.

Faithful color reproduction Faithful color reproduction of scenes under a wide variety of lighting. It has yet fuhi let me down, I have had a high success rate with this film in a number of different lighting conditions.

My little family was headed to Philadelphia to tour the new LDS Temple and I decided it was the perfect time to vuji. Available in our Shop. It can also retain dominant colors whether your color palette in the photo is extremely deranged. And for the grand finale, ultra film geek experience…we shot a few other exposures too, ranging from 3 under to 4 over, for Fuji H, PortraPortra and Portra I think you can tell just from scrolling through these photos…ha!

Accordingly, Fuji Pro H is a legend when it comes to wedding photography. 40h one day I tried out these new Lightroom presets that supposedly emulated film extremely well. Try exposing H at to improve grain structure. I overexposed a lot of the pictures in Philadelphia unintentionally and though not super awesome they still look pretty good — with absolutely no processing on my end.
