However I can answer the main question and give a suggestion for a possible cause of your problem:. Also the is ancient You better use a TL or TL, even those are old but much more suited to many of today’s applications. Blogger 1 Should have asked ‘What is the difference between letter N and P at the end of LMC’ instead of giving out details of the project to create a background to the question which made people drove outta their minds: Looking carefully at the sequence of events, there seems a possible cause.
No idea what you are doing. Shops can get faulty batches of components, or perhaps counterfeit etc.
Don’t lm471j it like an op amp. So I tried creating a basic inverting amplifier using this IC and the oscilloscope showed the same input signal like waveform as the output signal.
Addition to that, the IC seems to be heating up a lot. So the difference could also be described as most? Where do you see catasheet difference now?
LMC ICs sourced from the shop did not work. When I google, for both ICs, it’s the same datasheet.
Is it an analog circuit? Datasueet having an analog project where I have to amplify a weak signal coming out of a photo transistor.
I assumed that it’s not possible for 6 chips to be burnt like that Wrong assumption. The N and P suffix are packaging; the internal circuit will be equivalent in both parts. datasyeet
Olin Lathrop k 30 Can’t figure out what you are talking about. I assumed that it’s not possible for 6 chips to be burnt like that One of my friends had a LMCP IC and I plugged into the same proto board with the same pin configuration and it worked.
Therefore it seems possible that some or all of your problems could be explained by a faulty or counterfeit batch of LMCN ICs, since at least 4 of them dataxheet your story came from the same source. However I can answer the main question and give a suggestion for a possible cause of your problem: What is the RS, then?
In this context, no. Carefully read the datasheet and understand its limitations. We can only help when sufficient information is presented; draw a circuit diagram – the small circuit widget in the edit controls will open a schematic editor. Therefore use the manufacturer’s logo on the top of the LMCN and LMCP ICs to identify the manufacturer, and then locate the relevant datasheet on their website if you want to find more details.
Unfortunately some parts of your project are unclear.

Some other shop sells CP and they work. But my guess is that they are electrically identical. It is an audio power amplifier.
Do these last letters N and P mean anything like p type or n type? I assumed that it’s not possible for 6 chips to be burnt like that. Why can’t they just answer the question asked in the l741j Was just wondering why CN didn’t work when CP did.
