I loved Renner and Tierney story along with Abe and Janie. Will I read it again? Or should I say, would Laine let them share her? You won’t be disappointed with the latest Blacktop Cowboys!
Wrangled and Tangled
I understand that this is a fictional story and the author is giving her readers the raunch that they want but could we have some women with a bit more backbone when it comes to sex? This book has interesting, well fleshed out characters, a somewhat interesting plot but some troubling aspects for me. LJ introduces a lot of characters in this one, so have your pencil and paper handy, because I’m sure these people are going to pop up again, especially Hank’s brother Abe and his younger sister Celia.
Yikes, this was anything but! You submitted the following rating and review. However, I wish that there would have been a few more scenes between Lainie, Hank and Kyle outside of the love scenes.
Abe watched her eyes, those striking purple irises, sparking outrage. When she said no, he should have stopped to at least ask what was wrong and did she want to continue?

That dates me, I know. Renner Jackson has been forced to partner with Tierney Pratt in order to Simply amazing! He loves his land and has dreams of running a successful guest ranch, but needs money as well as know how to make it a reality.
Instead they let their pride get in the way. And reading through the synopsis of the upcoming titles in this series I was told to expect lots of hotness and lots of lube.
Also, the characters would often communicate kames the reader via self-talk a lot! I only wish LJ had elaborated on Janie’s story a little more and wrapped it up better, it felt as if something was missing. There is no drama, not fits, just what comes naturally. Corralled is the first book in Lorelei James’s new Blacktop Cowboy series.

And her corrallex about it made it worse. Some readers might find this series a bit repetitive–lonely cowboy finds girl, loses girl, wins girl back–but what I enjoy about the books is the milieu of western ranch living and the adjuncts to that, including rodeos, animal husbandry, and small towns that exist to support their outlying citizens. If you’re a fan of LJ’s Rough Riders series, you’ll probably want to check this loorelei.
When they finally give in it is hot! I’ll admit at the beginning I wasn’t too fond of Lainie and her two-timing ways.

Looking forward to Celia and Kyle’s story! The author has written a very sweet and charming romance in which the lucky protagonist experiences real growth and gets to live out her every fantasy.
I was not disappointed and I was equally satisfied.
